file uploads section

i hope this site is developed in mambo, i wish to ask you weather you used a file upload module so that your users may upload content (files) to your server... if so, may i know the module/component you use? or did u make one for yourself?

a question on how you are organizing site

Hi. I was wondering why you have some of the content as static pages and some as stories? Looks like the lyrics are static pages? Not sure of the difference or significance.

Also, how did you get started setting up your site look? Colors, etc. Did you start with a template? Thanks,
Jamie

Setup

I set up the lyrics as static pages for convenience and I plan to do the same thing with reviews. Instead of using the song & review modules (which don't work with the current development version of Drupal), I defined taxonomy terms "lyric", "reviews" and I'm using a taxonomy page to list items with that term.

I'm using the xtemplate theme with a custom style sheet. I kept the same logo and tried to make the colors as close as possible to the old site. I'll probably continue to tweak it.

Site looks good

Hi. I am also thinking of switching to Drupal. Looks good. Good colors too. Great job!

I love Drupal

I'm using Drupal at my other site, shareyourmusic.com and I find it a lot more flexible and powerful than PHP-Nuke. Thanks to a suggestion posted here, I was able to convert most of the content.
