I spent the week at Apple's World Wide Developer Conference, since I'm a Mac developer in real life. The hilight of the conference is the Thursday night Bash, which is traditionally held at Apple's campus in Cupertino and it usually featured a semi-well-known indie band. This year they threw the bash in Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco and the surprise musical guest was Ozomatli.

I always liked Ozomatli, but I'm now an even bigger fan. A lot of people first heard them when Apple used "Saturday Night" in an iPod commercial, and the band is a big Apple supporter.

They played for over an hour and got the crowd of several thousand geeks dancing and singing along. They ended the show by marching off the stage still playing and were followed by a mass of people in a huge conga line.
